Our Process
Get some meat and toss it into a smoker, right? Not that simple....We have a method to our madness that involves numerous steps to ensure our products get to you timely, fresh and tasty.
- All protein is purchased locally, whether it's through a butcher or wholesaler. We NEVER have it shipped to our production facility.
- Depending on the protein, we have multiple steps in preparing it for the smoking and dehydration process. We will trim fat, portion to different sizes and refrigerate.
- Our smoking & dehydration process lasts about 10-12 hours depending on the volume of treats we are producing. We use a proprietary process that includes a mixture of wood types, to accentuate the treat's flavor.
- Finally, we slice the treats into desired portions before completing a final quality check, ensuring the dehydration process is complete.
We are in "The Office" a couple times a week and are generally preparing orders as we receive them. Even if we are out of stock for a product, we can have it filled and ready to go within 48 hours. Remember, we do not warehouse our treats for a long period because your best friend deserves the highest quality rewards.
